Become a Community Action Partner

Join us at Take the Mic event and help young people discover ways to turn their interests into action.

Community Action Partners will have a table, cover, and chairs ready for them at the event. Your organization will also be listed on the Take the Mic event page, and we’ll include a slide about your organization in the event presentation shown on screen for the community.

There is no cost to participate.

We simply ask that you come ready to connect with students and share something they can realistically access from Avalon...whether that is a volunteer opportunity, youth program, community science project, educational resource, internship pathway, online opportunity, or another way to stay involved.

Young people have something important to say about the ocean and their future. When we listen, their voices can inspire a whole community to act.
