This group of dedicated Adventure Leaders will have the opportunity to build life-long outdoor leadership skills, challenge their mental and physical abilities, develop meaningful relationships, and learn about their important role as change-makers in this world.

About the event
Join the Adventure Leaders Team, the flagship youth environmental and community leadership program of Healthy Footprints Adventure Community for students in grades 6–12.
Participants build lifelong leadership skills, challenge themselves mentally and physically, and take part in meaningful community and environmental experiences throughout the year. Activities may include service projects, conservation work, outdoor education, teamwork challenges, mentorship, and contributing to real-world scientific data collection.
Students also have access to Pathways (new!) optional growth tracks that allow them to develop strengths and interests in areas such as photography, journalism, public speaking, project planning, community outreach, creative media, and supporting youth programs.
These experiences give students opportunities to build friendships, grow confidence, network with peers and mentors, and explore future passions and goals.
While many activities are optional, members are expected to attend monthly core meetings held on the third Friday of each month, primarily in Los Angeles County, with occasional sessions in Orange County. Carpooling options may be available.
This popular program remains open until all spots have been filled.
Meet-Up Dates: Third Friday of each month September - May
Optional Programs may include: community service work, habitat rehabilitation, community science data collection, fundraiser events, public speaking, community education, camping, October community hike or maze, overnight backpacking experience, Catalina Underwater Harbor Clean-Up, and more
Program Fees
$99 registration / uniform fee due upon enrollment to hold their spot
$499 Fall Semester due September 1
$599 Spring Semester due January 1
Charter funds are accepted for semester tuition, but may not be used for the $99 registration/uniform fee.
Financial assistance applications are available for non-charter school participants upon inquiry.
