Join us for three unforgettable days of science, adventure, and time with friends at AstroCamp in Idyllwild!

Set in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains, AstroCamp is an outdoor science school where students learn by doing. During this three-day overnight experience, Evergrow students will explore astronomy, physics, engineering, and the natural world through hands-on labs, outdoor challenges, and team-building experiences. AstroCamp’s school programs are designed to combine STEM learning with confidence-building, teamwork, environmental awareness, and plenty of fun.

What Students Can Experience

Our Evergrow group will participate in eight immersive learning sessions, selected from AstroCamp’s STEM, adventure, and outdoor programs.

Possible experiences include:

• Astronomy & space science

• Hands-on physics and science labs

• Rockets and engineering challenges

• Lights & lasers

• Electricity & magnetism

• Hiking and mountain ecology

• Rock climbing

• Ropes and team-building challenges

• Evening astronomy and other nighttime programs

AstroCamp offers an incredible variety of activities, so the final program will be based on the experiences selected for our Evergrow group.

Three Days of Science + Adventure

This is much more than a traditional field trip. Students spend their days learning alongside AstroCamp STEM instructors, experimenting, problem-solving, trying new challenges, and experiencing science in ways that are difficult to recreate in a classroom.

A typical three-day school program includes eight class sessions plus evening programming, with time for meals, free time, and being together as a school community. And because some of the best parts of overnight school trips happen between the scheduled activities, students will also have time to relax, laugh, explore camp life, and make memories with their Evergrow friends.

About AstroCamp

AstroCamp is located in the mountain community of Idyllwild, California, surrounded by pine forest in the San Jacinto Mountains. Its school program is specifically designed around hands-on physical science, astronomy, outdoor adventure, teamwork, and personal growth.

Students stay overnight on the AstroCamp campus, eat meals together, and participate in a full schedule of activities led by AstroCamp instructors. Evergrow Academy teachers accompany students throughout the trip.

Cost & Payment Schedule

Total Cost: $495

The trip cost includes lodging, meals at AstroCamp, science labs, program equipment, and activities.

Transportation to and from AstroCamp will be arranged by participating Evergrow Academy families.

Important Dates

• October 1, 2026: $115 deposit due to secure your student's spot

• January 8, 2027: Last day to cancel and receive a deposit refund

• March 15, 2027: Remaining $380 balance due

• March 15, 2027: Student health forms due

If your family needs a different payment arrangement, please reach out. We want to make the trip as accessible as possible for participating Evergrow families.

Cancellation Policy: Deposit refundable through January 8, 2027. After January 8, the $115 deposit is nonrefundable. Cancellations made within 30 days of the trip, including no-shows, are subject to loss of the deposit plus a $100 cancellation fee. Any applicable refund will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.
