*Lucky You!! Your California Pacific Charter School is providing a single ticket for their registered students and one chaperone per student! This fun and educational physics tour is complimentary from your California Pacific Charter School!

About our day together:

Your children will never think about roller coasters that same after STEM physics comes to life in this fun-filled adventure at Knott's Berry Farm! 

They will learn about and experience energy in motion through the breakdown of the creative and mechanical engineering behind Knott's Berry Farm's various rides and attractions. Your student will gain a greater understanding of the science behind roller coasters and will discuss subjects such as centrifugal force, mass, inertia, and more while they experience how each concept relates to the rides.

Date: Thursday, November 2nd, 2023

Time: 9:30am - 12:00 pm 

After the tour, they can enjoy Knott's Berry Farm until closing!

Location: Knott's Berry Farm, Buena Park

Parking Cost: $35 

Tickets: Complimentary for Cal-Pac students plus one adult

Sibling/Extra Guardian: $65  (Please keep this to immediate family/guardians)

There will be three different age groups with about five attractions that they will study (and ride!) during the tour. Knott's physics STEM instructors, Cal-Pacs and HFAC leaders/chaperones will be with students for the entire tour. They will participate on rides and will have the option of not riding something they may not be comfortable with. 

After the tour, students and families can stay and enjoy the park for the rest of the day!

Or - you can pick up your student at 12:00 for our drop-off option at Calico Park (by the Calico Railroad Station in the park) or at the front entrance of the park at 12:15. Parents are not required to attend the tour.

Notes:

Tickets are good for all day park entry as well as for the tour!

Tours have a maximum participant number. When you sign up, make sure you sign-up for the proper grade level for both the student and the parent/guardian that might be attending with them.

Everyone entering the park or attending the field trip must be present before 9:30am at the main entrance.

All grades have grade-level STEM educational curriculum.

Grades 1-3 will experience easier attractions.

Grades 4-5 will be mid-level thrill.

Grades 6+ will experience the most thrilling attractions

Please register your student for appropriate grade-level for the tour. These groups are also based on height requirements for the beginning to advanced rides. If there is a participant that does not meet a height requirement of a ride during the tour, they will be asked to wait with the tour guide, off the ride.

All tours and details are subject to change due to ride closures and other special circumstances.

Tickets are non-refundable.
