Nocturnal Journeys: Our Night Hike Series*

How often do kids get to see and learn about the unique creatures of nature  that come out only after dark? Join our experienced instructors Boaz  and Will in our upcoming class series, Nocturnal Journeys!

Nighttime offers a new and little-seen perspective on the ecosystems,  plants and animals around us. We’ll explore various destinations in the  San Gabriel Valley mountains after dark in pursuit of these night  dwellers. Expect a safe, fun experience as we learn together about  nocturnal lifeforms, observe them in their natural habitat, and enjoy a  community outing together.

Locations will be announced closer to the class dates and will rotate  to provide various location opportunities. All locations will be  between Sierra Madre and Claremont.

Time: Tuesdays from 5pm-7:30pm 

Drop-In rate is $50 per student 

***Ticket includes the cost for one student and one adult. ***

Add an additional sibling for $20

OR - purchase 8 field classes for $350 (valued at $400) good for nocturnal hikes, herb club, sunday explorations, and art class.

Parent participation is required for ages 12 and below. Participants must be able to stay in a group, follow instructions, and bring a headlamp or flashlight.
