Botanical Watercolor Summer Art Class! ~ Mt. Baldy

Dive into the world of botanical watercolor illustration with the exceptional guidance of renowned artist Carly Lake during our Summer '24 Field Days! This single-day class is designed to teach students the fundamental techniques of painting with watercolor paints directly from the tube.

Utilizing high quality materials provided, students will:

• Practice the essential techniques of mixing, blending, and layering colors
• Draw inspiration from flowers, leaves, twigs, and other botanical forms
• Create a finished watercolor illustration that captures the delicate beauty of nature

Our young artists are incredibly fortunate to work with Carly Lake, whose passion for art and nature shines through her teaching. Parents are welcome to also take the class. Every artist will need a ticket.

This registration is for August 16th. 

We encourage your student to join the other class in a different location for more practice, and introduction to various types of watercolor techniques in each class.

Friday July 12, 8:30-10:30am, Glendora

Friday August 16th, 9-11, Mt. Baldy
