About the event

HFAC Beach Bonfire & Community Day!

Wednesday, August 12, 2026

4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Bolsa Chica State Beach, Huntington Beach

Join HFAC for an easygoing afternoon and evening at the beach! Swim, play volleyball, relax by the water, and spend time with friends from past HFAC classes and events. New families are welcome too! Whether you have joined us before or are hoping to participate in the future, come meet the HFAC community and enjoy a fun day together.

Please bring your own food, beach gear, refillable water bottle, and beach chairs. HFAC will provide drinking-water refills and s’mores. We will also have a limited number of extra chairs available and set up!

If you would like, please bring something to share! We will have a table set-up where you can place your food or drink items. Thank you!

We plan to park near Parking Lot 15 / Pacific Kitchen, close to the volleyball courts, restrooms, and showers. Registered families will receive detailed parking and meeting instructions before the event. Registration also allows us to contact everyone quickly if the exact gathering location changes based on fire-pit availability.

Come for swimming, volleyball, friendship, s’mores, and a beautiful summer evening at the beach.

All are welcome!
