About the event
Catalina Island Overnight Campout & Avalon Harbor Clean-Up
HFAdventureCommunity is thrilled to host an overnight campout for the 43rd Annual Avalon Harbor Clean-Up. Weโre honored to be part of this impactful event in collaboration with Bleu World.
We are honored to have been asked to be one of the land teams at a dive site, measuring the conservation impact. We will sort, weigh, and record the trash collected during the cleanup in PADI AWARE's marine debris database, and we will make sure there are no living creatures (i.e. an octopus in a bottle) that are being discarded with the trash. About 600 divers come from all over theย place to volunteer... This is a very exciting weekend in Avalon.
