Sunday Morning Discoveries: An Ecology Walk for Kids

Even on the coldest days of winter, nature still thrives and life abounds. Join naturalists Rachel and Will as we venture outdoors to find and learn about the unique animals, plants, and fungi that appear in this season. We’ll learn their names and discover their habits and fascinating interactions with other species. If you would like, please bring your notebook, magnifying glass, vial...anything that will assist in learning.

Details:

Classes are on Sundays from 9:30am-12pm

January - May 2023

Drop-In rate when available is $50 per student, registration is required at least 24 hours in advance

Drop-off style class, or one parent per student may come at no charge.

A sibling may also join for an additional $20.

Due to weather and trail conditions, locations may change. Specific trails and meeting locations will be announced at least one-week before the hike. If the weather is not safe, class will be cancelled and a rain-check will be issued to each student for the class.
