The Adventure is out there! Thank you for joining us!
We are an adventure community for homeschoolers and families providing outdoor, action-filled recreational activities, exciting educational workshops, and leadership classes for middle schoolers and teens. Explore our site to see our variety of offerings for events and programs. No membership is needed!
We are on a mission.
We are currently members of Outdoors Empowered Network offering a gear share program here to Southern California to make it possible for more families to get outside. There is also space on every HFAC adventure for children and teens to join us at little to no-cost. Families can now apply for full or partial financial assistance. Space is limited. To make classes more accessible - we also accept Charter Funds!

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
These events have been huge confidence builders for my boys. I have seen such a difference in them both.
We are all in.
Going to these classes weekly has made the entire week run more smoothly. As a homeschooling mom, this is my day to unwind while the kids are safe at nature school.
I have seen a huge improvement in their moods and in the quality of their school work since we started these classes.
10 out of 10!
We are committed to making time for these adventures.
Highly organized and a carefully curated mix of experiences!
My boys loved making smores, making their snakes, nature walks, building the shelter, and looking for bugs for the terrarium.
Also, we were at the park today and my son started crunching up leaves that sort of formed a greenish powder. He goes, "look these would be good natural pigments for paint." They had so much fun.
They wish they could go to class everyday!
