Winter/Spring Field Institute - Outdoor Enrichment

Students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature while reinforcing common core information, ecology, the arts, ethnobotany, emotional-social development, primitive and survival skills, campfire cooking, physical agility, and more. This is nature-based learning in an outdoor setting, in a safe and nurturing environment. Recommended ages 7-14

Choose between our Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday Oak Study class.

Mondays - Glendora, larger class split into small groups for our exploration walks, touches on all of the above

Tuesdays - Rotating locations in Glendora, San Dimas, and LaVerne, smaller class with more hiking, impromptu lessons, and nature journaling

Thursdays - NEW THURSDAY CLASS with Andrea of HERB CLUB L.A.!  Location in Glendora, smaller class with a focus on herb walks, and making food, tea, and paints from native plants

Winter 2024 Session Dates: January 22 - March 4th (no class during the week of February 19)

Spring 2024 Session Dates: March 25 - May 6 (no class during the weeks of April 1 and April 22)

Type: Drop-off Program, 6 classes per session

Cost: $450

10% discount for each added sibling

Pre-registration is open for current students and the fall waitlist on October 28-30, opens to all on November 1.

Classes will fill-up...please only register if you are ready to commit to the session.
